A Winter Wonderland and a celebration of the Jazz Age come together this weekend for a festive evening of cocktails, food, live music and plenty of dancing. Yes, Michael Arenella's 6th Annual Open Bar Winter Ball starts at 8pm sharp this Saturday December 13, 2014.
Pick up your $99 Winter Ball Admission Ticket (a $150 value) to take a trip back with entertainers who will bring to life the spirit of the Roaring Twenties. This Winter Ball promises to be Michael's most upscale and romantic event yet.
This Five Hour Top Shelf Open Bar Party will be held in a cinematic Jazz Age era gymnasium, complete with a cathedral ceiling, wraparound balcony and period original wall murals.
Michael Arenella & His Dreamland Orchestra is the world's premier Jazz-Age dance orchestra, steeped in the hot-dance band tradition of the 1920s and early 1930s. Arenella, of course, is the famous Brooklyn bandleader behind the beloved Jazz Age Lawn Party series on Governors Island; his famously obsessive commitment to the Prohibition era carries over to every detail of his events.
At The Winter Ball, you can enjoy dancing to live music from Arenella’s Dreamland Orchestra, as well as performances by The Dreamland Follies and ballet dancer Aurora Black, holiday-inspired cocktails from one of New York’s top mixologists and plenty of food! It all goes down in a room perfectly suited to the occasion.
