On Saturday, May 19th, 2012, from 1 pm to 6 pm, Ghirardelli Square will host the sixth annual Uncorked! Wine Festival. In partnership with a local non-profit organization, Uncorked is a public event which provides an opportunity to taste, learn and experience wine from throughout Northern California. The 4th Annual Uncorked Festival drew over 7,500 attendees.

Puccini’s “The Girl of the Golden West” is the opera version of a classic Western—we meet a crafty criminal, a suspicious sheriff and a frontier woman with a tender heart who knows how to shoot a gun. The dramatic love triangle is set in California during the Gold Rush.
