Join us for our 8th season of Friday Nights at the de Young, after-hours (5 p.m. - 8:45 p.m) art “happenings” that include a mix of live music, dance performances, film screenings, panel discussions, lectures, artist demonstrations, special performances, hands-on art activities and exhibition tours.
Each evening has a unique theme and ties in with the special exhibitions and permanent collections at the de Young. Local artists conduct drop-in workshops, debut new commissions, display their art in the Kimball Education Gallery, and take part in artist/curator conversations about the creative process.
