On Friday May 1, starting at 9:00pm we return to The Down Town Association, for The 18th Annual Sailors Ball, a spectacular 4 Hour Premium Open Bar Fundraising Gala for The New York Harbor Sailing Foundation.
Your $65 Ticket (a $102 value) gets you entry to this casino-themed, black-tie event. Included with your ticket are a 4 Hour Premium Open Bar and gourmet food selections.
The evening consists of many theme rooms, including the Casino Royale Room with Vegas Style game tables and the Martini Room with a wide selection of artisan martinis made by expert mixologists.
With proceeds going to The New York Harbor Sailing Foundation, whether you win or lose in the Casino Royale Room, you can rest assured that your presence at the event will be helping a very worthy cause.
The New York Harbor Sailing Foundation's Sailors Ball is the annual black tie gala which celebrates the start of the new sailing season. The evening takes place at the prestigious Down Town Association, one of the oldest private clubs in the United States.
The Sailors Ball raises money for a scholarship program which makes it possible for inner-city kids to learn to sail; it is also one of the best and most exciting black tie parties of the year!
The evening will consist of many different themed rooms, including the Casino Royale Room with four live Vegas Style game tables. Try your luck at the games and exchange your chips for some great prizes including purses, jewelry, and autographed sports memorabilia.
Other rooms include a Martini Room (serving vodka and gin martinis); a Heineken Room serving ice cold Heineken beers all night long; plus a Mount Gay Rum Caribbean Room serving rum drinks including classic rum and tonics, and new Mt Gay drinks for the season, the Black & Stormy" and the Mt Gay Manhattan."
